Pretty Pictures

I have been designing posters as long as I can remember. I get commissions even way back up to 12 years ago in high school.

A personal project I did when I was studying overseas. I wanted to visualise the data I have about number of steps I took over the course of 3 months when I first reached Bristol, UK. I thought it was interesting and fun if we all think about the possibilities that can happen if we were to do things differently. Click on the image to see high resolution and spot the easter eggs!

Throughout the years there were commissions for physical printouts such as flyers, tickets, packaging and social media assets.

Print design generally helps me to improve and keep myself up to the design trend. There’s no boundary behind print design, you just get a set of information given by the client to portray it into pretty pictures. The only thing that changes in the variable is my creativity.

I was honored to be awarded with grand prize for this transit card design. The design was then later mass produced for Rapid KL users in 2015. The concept is to show the seamless multiple usages for Touch n Go in the daily lives as a Malaysian in familiar places. Be it retails, public transport or e-payments.

Bonus!
Since you have made this far, I’m just putting this here to remind myself of the old emo days
Left: Remember when I told you about the high school prom poster? I’m not even kidding, that’s the poster from 11 years ago that granted me free pass into the event.
Right: Look. At. That.
